Are you travelling abroad and need proof of COVID-19 vaccination status?

If you're planning to travel abroad, you can get proof that you've been vaccinated against coronavrius if you've had your a full course of the vaccine, were vaccinated at GP surgery, vaccination centre or hospital in England and are aged 16 or over. We are unable to provide letters showing your vaccination status, however, please see the below for the options available to you. 

The NHS app

You can view and download your COVID-19 vaccination status using the NHS app. You will need to create an NHS login to use the App if you do not have one already. 

On the home page, you will see an option that will say "Share your COVID-19 status" to view and share proof of your status for travel, and "Check your COVID-19 vaccine record" to view your vaccination details. 

The NHS app can be downloaded from the Apple App and Andorid Play Store. If you dont have a smart phone or tablet, please click on the HERE to use the NHS App on your computer or laptop 

By calling 119

If you do not have internet access, you can call 119 and ask for a letter with your COVID-19 vaccination status to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 days after your complete your course of the vaccine, and will take 7 working days to reach you.
