At Townhill we realise that young people can find going to the doctors  a bit, well, tricky sometimes. That’s why we’ve put in place some easier ways to get the advice or help you need, without the stresses of being seen in the waiting room, or having to make an actual appointment.  Hey, your parents don’t even need to be there or be told either. So, whatever you need to talk to us about regarding your wellbeing and health, just get in touch – read on to see how you can access our services.

Don’t want to come in and see us?  No problem, we understand

You can use our  text-in service to get answers to your questions or concerns about medical, health or other issues affecting your wellbeing. All texts are completely confidential and we’ll respond straight away – to follow up and put you at ease. Simple. 

     

Need help or advice urgently?

Don't panic! You can get direct, confidential help at any time about  any urgent personal issues, without  the need to call in. With a simple text we can quickly  put you in touch with the best advice,  guidance or treatment for your issue.

               


Need to see a doctor, without your parents knowing?  Off to Uni?  Due a jab?

As you get a bit older you may need to get health advice and checks about a growing number of things, and sometimes it’s, well, personal... Actually you’re completely entitled to see us without anyone else needing to know. So, whatever it is, it  can stay confidential. Get in touch and  we can make sure you get the treatment and advice you need.

     

Did you know?

  • Anything you discuss with our staff here stays confidential - no one will be informed, including parents, teachers, care-workers or family friends
  • You can bring someone with you for support  – a friend or someone your trust. It’s up to you,  just let us know it’s OK.
  • You can use our eConsult online service via our website, or telephone consultation, if you’d rather not come into the surgery
  • You can get handy appointment or treatment reminders sent to your mobile – just let us know your number and we’ll get you set up
