NHS Walk-In Centres
offer convenient access to a range of NHS services. There is a walk in centre at The Royal South Hants Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre
- infection and rashes,
- fractures and lacerations,
- emergency contraception and advice,
- stomach upsets,
- cuts and bruises, or
- burns and strains.
The UTC is open to all NHS patients, no appointments required.

NHS Walk In Centres treat around 3m patients a year and have proved to be a successful complementary service to traditional GP and A&E services. Some centres offer access to doctors as well as nurses. However, they are not designed for treating long-term conditions or immediately life-threatening problems.
111 Out of Hours duty doctor service
is available at all times when the surgery is closed should you need to see or speak to a doctor and can be accessed by telephoning 111.
Emergencies
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Monday – Friday: 7.30am – 10.00pm
Weekends and Bank Holidays: 8.00am – 10.00pm
